“The huge orange Dolles sign has been a Rehoboth Beach landmark since 1962. Artists have depicted in countless different ways, and rarely is a photograph shot on the Rehoboth Boardwalk that doesn’t include the Dolles sign in the background. This is my attempt to do something different. It is part of my series saluting the great foods of Delmarva.” — Erick Sahler
