“Kuerner Farm” (2022)
“When I first saw it I didn’t know what it was, but I knew it was special. A powerful vibe fills the air. The rolling property abuts the Revolutionary War’s Brandywine Battlefield and it has been a working farm since 1814. Fifteen-year-old neighbor Andrew Wyeth started painting there in 1932, and over the next seven decades created more than 1,000 paintings and drawings on the site, including all of the secret Helga works. The farm is now a National Historic Landmark.” — Erick Sahler
