“Indian River Station” (2022)
“The forerunner of the Coast Guard, more than 400 Life-Saving Stations once dotted the U.S. coastline. The Indian River Inlet station was built in 1876 and restored to its 1905 appearance by Delaware State Parks, which now operates a museum on the site. This print is part of my ongoing series celebrating Delmarva’s Life-Saving Stations, including ones at Ocean City, Maryland, and Assateague Beach, Virginia.” — Erick Sahler
